Pics from Madonna’s new tour have been released! The opening night of The Sticky and Sweet Tour took place at Cardiff Millennium Stadium in Cardiff Whales on August 23.

Costume and design are always major elements in Madonna’s concerts. There were a few pics that involved a guitar but I have never thought that was a good look for Madonna. She looks kind of uncomfortable when she holds it.

The pics are so watermarked but I don’t mind repping WENN. They do good work!

Kind of looks like Puffy. Love the roadster

This looks hot.

I’m a downtown person. I grew up in the GTA and I remember the long commutes, the late nights trying to get home. Now that I have my own place, I do not go above Bloor if I don’t have a good reason. My girlfriend, who is pregnant with twins asked me if I wanted to go apartment hunting with her while her hubbie was at work. I figured this was a good enough reason so I borrowed a metro pass and made sure to bring my camera. In my opinion, fashionistas are everwhere and this was a good opportunity to observe how the uptown fashion statement differs from the downtown.

Still downtown… while waiting for my friend to lend me his metro pass, I saw this girl. Love the top and boots!

Yorkmills Station. I love the T-shirt and her hair cut is very unique

The purse and the shoes.. Love them!

This is not a political website but I do like to feature people who use fashion to further political causes. It is a really creative way to draw attention to the issue and if a group does it well, the use of fashion and costumes can be very effective. Today’s post illustrates how fashion can get somebody’s attention.

About a week ago my boyfriend and I were out and about, enjoying the late summer weather when we saw a group of protesters wearing masks and cool costumes. The masks got my attention right away. I got the impression that these protesters felt the need to hide their faces, which added to the eerie nature of the protest.

They were protesting Scientology. If what I have read about the organization is true, then it is probably a good idea that they hid their faces. The educated about what they believe in and it was fashion that made me stop and ask to be educated.

They asked me to display their flyer.. I said sure!
