First things first, I would like to send a special shout out to my new intern/assistant Helen. She approached many of the people that you will see in today’s post and has been a tremendous help! Thanks honey!
I love the blue, green and brown. It looks so summery and gorgeous against the trees.

I have always admired Asian style tops and dresses. The accessories finish the outfit so well.

Her hair caught my attention but her shoes made me wanna go shopping. Very cool look.

The most fashionable people are always on bikes. It’s one of the frustrations that come with this job. I was so happy I caught this young man before me rode off. His shirt is wicked and I was surprised to find out that he got it from Winners.

Obviously it was the shorts that caught my attention. They are so different and a great look for Summer.

This young couple was on their way to a gala to kick off Pride Week. The gold and black reminds me of Donna Karan. They both look very chic.

“Fashion should be enjoyable for every woman no matter what her height,” said Christa Jean, creator and blogger of petitefashionista.com. “Petites are too often an afterthought. Petitefashionista.com wants them to be the main attraction!”
Petitefashionista.com held its first fashion extravaganza at the gorgeous Proof Bar and Sky Lounge on Sunday June 22nd. The event was a tremendous success and SO MUCH FUN!!! Not only did the guests see a fashion show featuring top petite designers from across North America, they were also treated to a complimentary manicure and mini massage. Guests also had the opportunity to shop for stunning petite clothing and accessories while jamming to the beats of DJ L’oquenz.

Ok, ok, so I kind of cheated a little in today’s post. 2 out of the 3 people that you will see today are friends of mine who I ran into while I was trying to find strangers to take pictures of. (What can I say? I hate to work weekends). The second girl is named Allie and was nice enough to pose for me while she was waiting for the streetcar. This resourceful young woman had her laundry packed into a suitcase instead of a laundry bag! How brilliant is that? When I approached her, I saw the suitcase and imagined that she was off to Paris or London. That is the power of a great outfit and chic hairstyle. Thanks to Kelly and Melonie for helping out as well.
Melonie’s shirt makes me miss NYC
